Answers before you inquire.
Twelve answers on extraction methods, ordering variables, container logistics and shipping documentation.
Product & specs
What does “low EC” actually mean, and which method do you use?
EC measures dissolved salts. The target is confirmed with your quotation, always stated with the 1:1.5 volume extraction method — figures without a method cannot be compared between suppliers.
Washed vs buffered — which grade should I choose?
Washed material suits general growing and blending. Calcium-buffered material displaces bound sodium and potassium and suits salt-sensitive crops, hydroponics and seedlings. We confirm scope per order.
Why do EC readings differ between suppliers?
Different extraction ratios (1:1.5, 1:2, 1:5, PourThru) produce different numbers from the same material, and rehydration water changes root-zone EC. Compare methods first, then values.
Which formats are standard and which are configured to order?
The 5 kg block is our production standard. Briquettes, discs, grow bags, fibre/chips and loose material are configured to order and stated as such on every page.
Ordering
Can I get a sample before booking a container?
Yes — request one through the inquiry desk and we will route it to the right office.
What is your minimum order quantity?
Orders are typically full-container or combined-pallet quantities. Exact minimums are confirmed in your quotation.
Do you sell direct to consumers or small retail packs?
No — supply is B2B only. Retail-format production (briquettes, discs) is available for distributors.
Can you produce under our private label / custom packaging?
Yes. Wrap style, label inlay and carton counts are agreed in the quote — briquettes and discs are the most common private-label formats.
Logistics
What is the typical lead time from confirmation to dispatch?
Confirmed with your quotation; it depends on format, season and destination treatment requirements. We commit to schedules we can verify, not estimates.
Which ports do you load from?
Chennai or Tuticorin, confirmed per order alongside container size and loading plan.
Palletized or floor-loaded — which should I choose?
Palletizing protects load structure and speeds discharge; floor loading maximises cubic utilisation. Your port’s discharge capacity decides — we confirm in the quote.
Documentation
What documents come with the shipment?
Four standard documents travel with every order — commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and bill of lading. Phytosanitary, ISPM-15 and COA follow your destination’s rules.
